DANETTE MICLAT HAYMAKER
Born on July 08, 1979, Danette is the first a of Dan and Marylou Miclat. She grew up in Angeles City Pampanga and studied at the Angeles University Foundation. She played volleyball at the varsity level while attending. Danette was able to take up interior design in the Philippine School of Interior Design, De La Salle - College of Saint Binelde in Manila, and eventually became her profession. She is the owner of Disenyo at Arkitektura in Subic Air Base and the designer for her families business MBM Interiors. They do design as well as build commercial and residential units. The company also supplies interior materials like blinds, curtains, carpets, wallpapers, and furniture. She has two daughters, Daziel who is now 23 years old and Ainsley, 20. A dedicated mother, Danette raised her two daughters by herself. She loves to travel and explore the world. She has been in 14 countries and intends to continue traveling with her children and husband as well as other family. Danette is a member of Las Damas Pampanga Chapter and a Business Manager of the YWCA of the Philippines Pampanga Chapter. In 2020, Danette migrated to America and transferred to Colorado in 2021. That same year, she became a grandmother to a beautiful girl Dani. She and her daughter’s family planned to move back to the Philippines in 2022 she met the love of her life Bruce and now they are building their lives together here in Colorado Springs. They started a catering business Fil Craves by D’nette and plan to open a restaurant in Downtown. Together they will build their dreams , family and success.
Nelsina Cool – Mrs. Sorsogon Nelsina, at 44 years of age, traces her origins to Trece Martirez Casiguran Sorsogon in the Philippines. Her upbringing was enriched in the bustling atmosphere of Maybunga, Pasig City. On January 3, 2003, she embarked on her American journey, finding her haven in the scenic beauty of Colorado Springs. For almost 23 years, Nhina and her husband, John Cool, have been partners in a remarkable marriage, a testament to their enduring bond. Their shared joy expands through their three cherished children: Matthew, blooming at 19; Angel, a spirited 17-year-old; and Bryce, an engaging 12-year-old. In her professional sphere, Nhina has contributed her skills and passion to Philips North America for the past four years. Within the tapestry of her life, Nhina's roles as a devoted spouse, nurturing parent, and dedicated professional interweave seamlessly, reflecting the depth of her character and commitment.
Monet Sadiarin- Mrs. Batangas • Monet hails from Fernando Air Base Lipa City, Batangas. Married for 30 years and a mother of 5 (3 daughters and two sons), she's also a proud grandmother with a new addition on the way. 1992, she migrated to the United States when her father was assigned to the Washington D.C. Philippine Embassy as an Air Force Attaché. Monet is a seasoned healthcare professional with 17 years of hands-on patient care experience, including six years in leadership roles at a nonprofit Community Health Center. She passionately advocates for those with limited access to quality care in Colorado's Pikes Peak and East Central regions. As an International Director for the Ms. Naturelle Well Earth International nonprofit organization, she champions Mental Health, Positivity, Mentorship, Whole Person Wellness, and Pro-Aging. Monet was crowned Ms. Naturelle International 2022, continuing her advocacy for these core pillars. Actively engaged in the Filipino-American Community of Southern Colorado, she's a member of FACSC Dancers and has graced the runways of the Philippine Expo in California and the World Fashion Expo in Paris. With an upcoming New York Fashion Week Season 16 Fall Edition appearance, Monet lives by the mantra, "Never give up and live your dream, as everything has its own perfect timing."
Judith O'Harrow • Mrs. O’Harrow was born in Tondo Manila with a strong personality and a passion for spreading joy through song. She met her husband, Christopher O'Harrow while working abroad in Korea at the age of 26. They married and returned to the United States, working to bring her three children and mother from the Philippines. Despite challenges, including Christopher's deployments to Afghanistan, where he was injured twice before being medically retired, they became a household of 9 with six children. Judith managed two jobs, motherhood, and social engagements, while rising to a supervisor role at the United States Post Office. They prioritize family vacations, with an upcoming Caribbean cruise and plans to explore the Philippines. Their children, Nina, Marlelin, Mary Rose, Christion Joshua, Erica Lynn, and Joseph Daniel, have pursued diverse paths, from higher education to music and technology. Judith and Chris's journey began with modest means, teaching them the values of hard work, sacrifice, and cherishing what they've achieved. Judith embraces roles as a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Marizadeb Elefante was born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She’s been part of the Fil-Am community since its inception in 1993, She was even crowned the first Little Miss Princess of the Fil-am Community in 1997. She co-owns multiple small businesses such as Fountain Creek RV Park and Storage and Soluna Mind and Body. Soluna is a Mind and body wellness business created by her and her best friend, Shannon Korwek, to promote total body wellness through dance, yoga, sound healing, and meditation. Marizadeb is Married to Dwight Elefante; they met through the Fil-Am community, fell in-love and were attached at the hip since their first date. Now they’ve been together for 12 years. They have 2 Daughters, Freya and Athena. On Marizadeb’s spare time, you can find her reading books, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family outdoors.
